CINCINNATI HOSTS THE 2009 HEALTHY COMMUNITIES - HEALTHY YOUTH CONFERENCE

Every year the Search Institute works with the conference host community to choose a youth to receive the Laura Lee Geraghty conference scholarship. He/She would be someone who has been involved in asset building, who has become a leader. He/she will receive a complete conference scholarship and would also, if he/she chooses, serve as one of the conference emcees for the 2009 conference. Search has asked that our tri-state identify who this 2009 scholarship winner will be.

(Laura Lee was the Director of National Initiatives a number of years ago. She was instrumental in organizing our first Healthy Communities Healthy Youth Conference. Search gives this annual scholarship in her memory.)

Congratulations to Ashely Noe from Butler County. She was awarded the Laura Lee Geraghty conference scholarship and will represent our region well at the national conference in November.
